STANDARD FORM AND DECIMAL PLACES     20041116
This exercise tests your ability to switch between the forms of precision on your calculator by using the Mode or FSE keys (depending on your calculator type).  By now you should have confidence that you can do this, you have appropriate instructions to yourself taken from your calculator’s instruction manual and you have done the previous sheet. A particular fault is failing to recognise  x10 (written) and EXP (calculator) as equivalent. Do NOT use x10 or x10x    on your calculator!
Give each of these calculations to
                               a) 4 significant figures in Standard Form   AND     (b) to 6 decimal places
        Example:
8.17x 10³                     =   2.226x10-2                          =   0.022262
